Holidays

Last “day” before the Easter holidays. I say “day” because we’re not really doing much, handing in coursework (see below) and talking about obesity. Likely followed by the pub (if I can afford it). These also aren’t really holidays, since most of the time will be spent revising (yay!). With so much covered, I have no idea where to start.

My Mum’s birthday was OK. Went out for a reasonably decent meal and she managed to moan several times that her new phone is black. Got back last night to write about obesity and just got into bed before the fire alarm went off. That thing is damn loud. Got up (thinking it was some idiot from up stairs), opened my room door to the sight and smell of smoke. Flatmate had apparently forgot about his burgers. No shit. Thankfully, there was no real fire but he failed to stop the fire brigade getting called out. They didn’t seem too bothered about it though. After they had cleared the building (the grill needs cleaned apparently, or watched at the very least), we still had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the key holder to come and shut the alarm off.

In all, it was an eventful evening, tonight should be a little different.
